Marlon Costa grew up in Brazil, beginning with constructing apparel and accessories at an early age. His first professional experience working in fashion was as a teenager doing product development for a brazilian label specialized in eveningwear. But it was in the Unites States that he acquired his formal training in fashion at the Massachusetts College of Art & Design in 2010. Soon after, he had the opportunity to show his first collection at the Boston Fashion Week. In 2011 he went back to Brazil and joined the creative team of the brazilian label Indigo Jeans, company that sells its products nation-wide and put ads on the most important brazilian publishers such as Vogue and Elle. He also had the chance to work with other big labels such as Magia do Mar e Obbia while staying in South America.
